This Louis Vuitton courier trunk from the 1950s is an iconic model of the Maison and the only historical design still produced today. It features stenciled canvas typical of the 1930–1935 period, preserved in exceptional condition, along with painted family colors in yellow and green and matching hand-painted initials on each side — a personalization once used to help porters and ship crews instantly identify a traveler’s luggage. The exterior is completed with solid brass hardware, lozine borders showing a natural patina, and leather handles restored to original Louis Vuitton specifications.

The interior is lined in coated beige cotton canvas designed to protect belongings during long voyages and retains its authentic Louis Vuitton label with historic store addresses, including the famed Champs-Élysées “Vuitton Building,” as well as the original serial number. In very good overall condition, the trunk displays an almost immaculate canvas, beautifully aged trim, and a clean, complete interior with only light signs of use, making it a superb example of mid-century Louis Vuitton craftsmanship.
